Who we are

At St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, we believe everyone is searching for meaning—whether through knowledge, relationships, spirituality, or faith. As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we proclaim the good news that God’s grace and boundless love are freely given to all through Jesus Christ.

For over 70 years at St. Paul’s, all are truly welcome—just as you are. We embrace people of every race, ethnic background, life experience, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, and legal status. We believe faith is a journey, and questions and doubts are a natural and welcomed part of that journey.

Lutherans are people who live out their faith within the Lutheran tradition and take part in the life of a Lutheran congregation. Becoming a member of St. Paul’s is a meaningful way to express a long-term commitment to our shared ministry—both within our local community and as part of the wider church. Membership also reflects a willingness to support the work of the church through time, talents, and resources, helping to sustain our mission locally, nationally, and globally.

“Serving as your intern has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I have learned so much from you - about faith, ministry, and what it means to be a community rooted in God’s grace. Your encouragement and care have shaped me in lasting ways as I continue to prepare for ordained ministry.

Thank you for welcoming me so warmly, for walking with me in faith, and for sharing Christ’s love so generously. I hold this Church and each of you in my prayers with great affection and gratitude.”

With love in Christ,

Vicar Jen Sherbine (current acting Pastor)
