St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Preschool

“CHILDHOOD SHOULD BE A JOURNEY…NOT A RACE”

Since 1981, St. Paul’s Community Preschool -one of the first preschools to open in the area.- has provided a quality education to its’ students. Children are introduced to a learning environment in a relaxed manner to enable them to become self-confident and to enjoy learning

PURPOSE:

The purpose of our program is to help each child develop emotionally, academically, and socially. Small and large group activities as well as individual self-expression through learning centers and art projects will enable each child to practice and become aware of essential skills necessary for kindergarten. Sharing, making choices, cooperation with peers, and respecting the rights of others is an important part of our program.

OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM:

Children will receive practice in small motor skills such as holding a pencil, coloring, cutting, pasting, and molding clay; and large motor skills such as running, jumping, balancing, throwing and catching. The curriculum will include colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, music, art, and various other topics.

Every class ends with a graduation celebration that recognizes your child for all their hard work and is definitely a proud parent moment!
