WORSHIP

At St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, everyone is welcome—whether you’re a lifelong Lutheran, exploring faith for the first time, or simply looking for a place to belong.

Worship provides regular and special services of Word and Sacrament; enhancing the use of music and the arts; developing and maintaining corporate, family, and individual devotional life.

  • Worship takes place each Saturday at 5:30 PM and Sunday at 9:00 AM in our sanctuary at 3328 William Penn Highway, Johnstown, PA . Services typically last about one hour. Parking is available next to the church, and our building is fully accessible for all worshipers.

Greeters are available to help you find a seat or ask questions.

  • Our worship follows the Lutheran liturgical tradition—rooted in Scripture, prayer, and song—while remaining open and welcoming to all.
We celebrate Holy Communion at every service, and everyone who desires to receive the grace of Christ is invited to the table.

Music plays a central role in our worship, blending traditional hymns with joyful, modern expressions of faith.

  • Children are an important part of our worship life and are deeply valued here! They are always welcome to stay in the service.

    We also offer:

*Activity bags containing various small toys and coloring pages are available for little ones

*Children’s sermon during Sunday morning worship

    *Sunday School following Sunday services

*If your little one needs some time to play or rest, our nursery is available with toys and activities. The service can be heard from the nursery as well.

  • Come as you are. Some people dress up, others dress casually—what matters most is your presence.

  • After worship, we invite everyone to join us for coffee and fellowship. It’s a great opportunity to meet others and feel at home.

If you’re visiting, know that you won’t be singled out or asked to introduce yourself—we’re simply glad you’re here.

  • For those unable to attend in person, our services are recorded and posted on our Facebook page, so you can worship with us wherever you are.
